Precision meets efficiency: hotrunner systems by MHT
MHT preform systems are distinguished not only by their cold halves and post-mould cooling solutions, but also by their high-precision hotrunner systems for PET injection moulding – offering up to 192 cavities, short cycle times and optimised melt flow. The systems are energy-efficient, easy to maintain and compatible with all common platforms. Whether for standard preforms, rPET applications or customised solutions – MHT offers the right technology for every challenge:
- The optiRUN series is the result of years of development and meets the highest standards in quality, sustainability and process reliability. It features a wide process window, reduced PET dust and water consumption as well as extended maintenance intervals and it is ideal for rPET and flakes. Thanks to perfectly balanced temperature control and anti-leakage technology, it delivers consistently high preform quality – even with low shot weights.
- With Vulcan III components, MHT sets new benchmarks in thermal efficiency, durability and serviceability. The optimised nozzle design allows quick access to all relevant components, reduces heat loss and reliably prevents leakage – ensuring maximum operational safety and minimal downtime.
MHT systems are in high demand across the packaging industry – where quality, efficiency and sustainability truly matter. Discover our solutions live at drinktec 2025 in Hall C6 – and experience how advanced tooling technology is redefining productivity.

Sustainability meets efficiency: CO2 recovery with Steinecker
During alcoholic fermentation, yeast converts sugar into alcohol and CO₂ – a natural process that takes place every day in every brewery. But what often escapes unused into the atmosphere harbours enormous potential: CO₂ is a valuable raw material that is needed in many areas of the brewery – for example, in bottling, for pressurisation in fermentation and storage cellars, or in the production of non-alcoholic beverages. But instead of buying CO₂ at high prices or becoming dependent on external supply chains, recovering your own fermentation CO₂ is a smart, sustainable and economically attractive alternative.
Steinecker provides answers to key issues such as supply security and environmental responsibility and offers a forward-looking solution with its CO₂ recovery system. Our technology enables breweries to efficiently recover natural fermentation CO₂ for greater independence, food safety and a strong sustainability profile.
With a broad portfolio – from preconfigured units with 100, 300 or 500 kilograms per hour to tailor-made solutions that can handle 6,000 kilograms per hour and more – we offer maximum flexibility for every size of operation. Thanks to our in-depth process expertise, we seamlessly integrate the CO₂ system from the fermentation tank to the filling line, minimising losses along the entire process chain.
VapoCool is a particular highlight: our smart solution for energy recovery during CO₂ evaporation. Not only does it save energy, it can also be easily integrated into existing systems for rapid amortisation and sustainable efficiency gains.
Other technologies such as the aerosol separator or H₂S separation ensure maximum product quality and operational safety. This makes CO₂ recovery not only an ecological but also an economic gain – with a return on investment (ROI) of less than three years (with the appropri-ate plant size and CO₂ price level).
Visit us next week at drinktec and experience our CO₂ solution as part of the Brewnomic concept for a more sustainable, smarter and more resilient beverage production. You’ll find the Steinecker team at the Krones stand in Hall B6.

A true highlight: PET-Line 4000 from Netstal
At drinktec 2025 in Hall C6, Netstal will present the latest generation of its PET-Line – a true highlight for anyone interested in sustainable and high-performance preform production. The PET-Line 4000 produces ultra-light 6.9 g preforms with a 25/22 neck finish and achieves an impressive output of around 108,000 preforms per hour – thanks to a 144-cavity mould from MHT featuring integrated self-cleaning.
But it’s not just about speed: an integrated Vision Control System inspects quality in real time and automatically documents results. The new Quality Shot function enables full shot sampling at the push of a button. Operation has also been reimagined: with Smart Operation and the graphically guided Task Quick Mold Change, tool changes are safe and intuitive – even for less experienced personnel.
A particular highlight is the system’s energy efficiency: by recovering kinetic energy and optionally reducing system pressure, annual energy savings in the five-digit range are possible.
At the PET Point in Hall C6, the PET-Line will be producing preforms live. And after the show? The preforms will be returned to the recycling loop – a clear commitment to the circular economy.
