The year starts with good news for Kosme. After the ISO/IEC 27001 on information security, our Italian subsidiary received two more ISO certifications at the beginning of 2025: Firstly, it was once again awarded the ISO 45001:2018 “Occupational health and safety management systems”. Secondly, Kosme received the ISO 14001:2015 certification for the first time, which honours its activities in the field of environmental protection.
“With both certifications, we underline our strong commitment to sustainability and also demonstrate that we, of course, comply with current regulations and laws,” said Julio Urrea, the responsible Health and Safety Manager at Kosme. In his view, the (re-)certification is not only important for the collaboration with customers and business partners, but also for the entire Kosme team: “This new certification motivates employees to commit more to sustainability and the company culture, and strengthens their sense of belonging,” said a satisfied Julio Urrea. Speaking of teamwork: It was only thanks to the close collaboration between those responsible for QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, editor’s note), facility management, and the production departments that this important milestone towards an integrated management system could be achieved.
