Closing the trade fair year 2024
From Algiers to Zaragoza: This year, Krones has been participating in more than 90 events all around the globe. One of our highlights was definitely meeting so many wonderful people at our stands and having in-depth and fruitful conversations about the challenges and future of our industry.
But when one chapter closes, another one opens: the year 2025 is just around the corner – and, of course, we’re looking forward to meeting you at one of our many events!
If you want to stay tuned online, check out our 2025 event blog on Krones magazine.
Thanks for three great days at BrauBeviale!
From the first until the last hour of this year’s BrauBeviale it was busy at the Krones stand in Hall 7A. And we’d like to take this opportunity to say Thank You to the countless visitors from all over the world for their interesting and deep conversations about our technologies but also the future of the beverage industry, and – of course – for the enormous interest in our solutions.
The feedback we received over the past three days encourages us to continue on our path of “Solutions beyond tomorrow” – and to shape the future of the beverage and food industry.
In this video, we’ve condensed this year’s BrauBeviale in 2.5 minutes – and we’d like you to join us diving back into the fair and feel the positive atmosphere we experienced in Nuremberg. And who knows – maybe you will even spot yourself?
Get to know Dr. Marcus Michel, Steinecker’s new Managing Director
Since October 2024, Dr. Marcus Michel leads the Steinecker GmbH. He has many years of experience in international plant engineering and process technology and has served in various companies and business units across a number of industries.
And of course, he has already concrete ideas about what is important for Steinecker in the future – as he tells us in a short video interview at BrauBeviale 2024 in Nuremberg.

New method for brewing alcohol-free beer
Not “less than 0.5% alcohol by volume” but 0.0! That’s the credo of Steinecker’s new method for brewing alcohol-free beer. This is achieved thanks to a new perfect match: the combination of the proven Poseidon dynamic fermentation unit with crabtree-negative yeasts.
Although it is a brand-new method, several breweries have already tested it – successfully! One of them is the Belgian brewery Van Honsebrouck. Its Kasteel Rouge 0.0 is being served here at the Krones stand at BrauBeviale. And there are two things that immediately stand out when tasting the beer. First: it is a Belgian Kriek beer with nice cherry flavours. And secondly (and most important): it tastes like the original one containing alcohol!
If you want to taste it yourself, hurry up! It is the last day of BrauBeviale in Nuremberg and you’ll find Krones, Steinecker and Van Honsebrouck’s Kasteel Rouge 0.0 in Hall 7A.
Significant expertise in can filling and seaming
As Sebastian Wittl and Tim Schorb from the filling technology product management explain in this short video: our Modulfill Bloc FS-C is a true all-rounder and space saver.
Not only is it suitable for various products like beer, carbonated soft drinks, water, (hot-filled) juice and non-carbonated beverages. It also scores with its compact layout design: The block variant with a small cleanroom is about 35 percent smaller than conventional solutions with free-standing machine protection. This version of the block also ensures savings during operation. The volume of the hygienic filling and sealing area is 90 percent smaller than that of fillers with a large cleanroom roof, thus reducing the need for filter media.
And the best thing about it: the Modulfill Bloc FS-C is the perfect solution for all beverage producers who want to go full speed ahead with their production: up to 135,000 cans per hour with a block comprising of a filler and a seamer from one source – Krones.
Don’t miss your chance to visit us at the last day of BrauBeviale in Nuremberg, Germany, and take a deeper dive into our block solution (and all other technologies, of course!). You’ll find Krones in Hall 7A.
